Leadership
Bridging real estate investment, development, and planning to create lasting impact.
Jesse Clark is the Managing Director of Clark Property R+D (CPRD) and a real estate development and land use strategist with over 20 years of experience guiding complex projects through acquisition, rezoning, and implementation. He has led the planning and entitlement of projects totaling more than 350 acres, 2,500 residential units—including workforce housing—and over 2.6 million square feet of commercial space across the Southeast.
Jesse focuses on guiding projects through the intersection of land ownership, public approvals, market feasibility, and community priorities—creating comprehensive plans that unlock land value while earning durable community support. He advises landowners, developers, and public agencies on development planning, zoning strategy, and implementation frameworks. He is known for building trust among stakeholders while navigating politically and technically complex approvals, particularly for urban infill, adaptive reuse, and mixed-use development.
Previously, Jesse served as Executive Director of the Historic District Development Corporation, where he led a major real estate portfolio turnaround within the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic District. He also held senior development roles at Songy Highroads, overseeing large-scale commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects across the Southeast. Earlier in his career, he supported more than $2.4 billion in transactions and advisory work at Ernst & Young and Berkadia.
Jesse holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BBA in Finance from the University of Central Florida. He is AICP certified, holds a real estate license in Georgia, and has taught graduate-level real estate at Georgia State University. Jesse served as a medic in the U.S. Army National Guard, earning the Army Commendation Medal while deployed to Iraq.
